I am Terry Ziccardi, a senior here at UNE scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2022. I am studying Political Science with a minor in Public Health, and I’m thinking about going to Law school in the future. I am admittedly not involved in campus activities to any extent because I prefer to work off-campus during my non-academic time. I don’t recommend this for everyone, but I enjoy being in the community away from Academia. If I have free time, I like to play music, eat food, or be outdoors. 

I hope to put people at ease with the material in this handbook. College can seem overwhelming, and not just as a First Year. I want to show incoming students that while school may seem like a mess at times, taking a step back and looking at opportunities in front of you will help you succeed in college. It is important to learn how to fend for yourself and develop a sense of personal freedom before being thrown into the workforce. I think college is a time to work on both your personal and academic goals simultaneously.
